Getting started

Connect your store, choose your products, set prices and shipping, and add your first retailer.

Sign in

VendorDesk has no passwords. Enter your email on the sign-in page and we email you a link. The link works once and expires after 30 minutes.

If the email doesn’t arrive within a couple of minutes, check your spam folder, then email support@deskapps.app.

Connect your Shopify store

  1. Open Home and choose Connect your Shopify store.
  2. Approve the connection in Shopify.

VendorDesk copies your catalog and keeps it in sync. Titles, images, stock and prices always come from Shopify. Dropship orders are created in this store, so you ship them like any other order.

Choose your products

Open Catalog. Retailers only see the products you add to your program.

  • Tick products and choose Add selected, or use Add remaining active products to add everything that’s active in Shopify.
  • Filter by vendor, product type or whether a product is already in your program.
  • Drafts and archived products are never added.

To change many products at once, choose Export CSV, edit wholesale cost, MSRP, MAP or the in_program column in a spreadsheet, and choose Import CSV. Rows are matched by SKU.

Set prices, shipping and fees

Open the account menu (your initials, top right) and choose Program settings.

  • Wholesale pricing: base wholesale cost on your Shopify cost, a percentage off retail, or set it per variant.
  • Price tiers: give some retailers a better price.
  • Shipping and fees: what retailers pay for shipping, and your dropship fee.
  • How retailers can send orders: switch emailed POs and the order page on or off.

Add your first retailer

Open Retailers and choose Add a retailer. You fill in their contact details, pick how they’ll connect, and set their terms in one go. See How retailers connect.

Invite your team

Account menu → Team. Add people by email and pick a role:

  • Owner: everything, including plan and billing.
  • Admin: everything except billing and owners.
  • Staff: orders, retailers and the catalog, but not settings.

Starter includes 3 people and Growth 10. Scale has no limit.
