Install AuctionDesk, add it to your theme and list your first product for offers or auction.
AuctionDesk is in review with Shopify. The install link will be on the AuctionDesk page once it’s approved.
Install
- Install AuctionDesk from the Shopify App Store.
- Approve the permissions. AuctionDesk reads and updates the products you list, creates draft orders to invoice buyers, and checks whether those orders are paid.
- Pick a plan. The Free plan covers 10 accepted offers a month and one live auction at a time.
AuctionDesk opens inside your Shopify admin, under Apps in the sidebar. The Getting started checklist on its Home page walks you through the rest.
Add AuctionDesk to your theme
Shoppers make offers and bid through AuctionDesk’s blocks on your product pages.
- Turn on the AuctionDesk app embed in your theme editor.
- Add the Make an offer block to your product page template.

List a product
- Open Listings and choose a product.
- Under Sell as, choose Offers or Auction.
- Fill in the details and save. For offers, turn on Take offers on this item. For an auction, set the starting bid and end time, then choose Start auction.
When a product is listed as an auction, the bid panel replaces your theme’s buy buttons, and checkout won’t accept it at its normal price.
Shoppers need an account to bid
Bidding needs a signed-in customer account on your store, so each bid belongs to a real buyer. Shoppers can make offers with just a name and email.
