Install IssueDesk, log your first order issue and get your team working from the same list.
Install
- Open IssueDesk on the Shopify App Store and choose Install.
- Approve the permissions. IssueDesk reads your orders and customers so it can link issues to them.
- Pick a plan. The Free plan covers 10 open issues, and every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial.
IssueDesk then opens inside your Shopify admin. You’ll find it again under Apps in the admin sidebar.
Log your first issue
When a customer reports a problem, create an issue for it:
- Choose New Issue.
- Find the Shopify order and select the line items the problem affects.
- Choose a category, such as damaged item, missing part or wrong item, and set a priority.
- Assign it to the teammate who will handle it. They get an email right away.
- Add a follow-up date if you’re waiting on something, such as a carrier claim or the customer sending photos.
Every change after that, including status updates, reassignments and notes, is added to the issue’s timeline with who made it and when.
Work as a team
- Notes and mentions. Add a note to an issue and type
@to mention a teammate. They’re emailed with a link to the issue. - The dashboard shows open issues, overdue follow-ups, urgent items and the issues assigned to you.
- Filters on the issue list narrow things down by status, priority, category or assignee.
See issues on the order page
IssueDesk adds a block to the order details page in your Shopify admin. On an order with an issue, it shows the status, priority, assignee, follow-up date and latest update, with a link to open the full issue.
If you don’t see it, open any order, look for the apps area on the order page, and add or pin the IssueDesk block there.
Make it fit your store
- Categories can be renamed, added and removed on every plan.
- Statuses can be customized on Pro and Business, so your workflow can include steps like “Awaiting customer” or “Claim filed”.
- Custom fields (10 on Pro, 25 on Business) hold anything else you track, such as a carrier claim number or replacement order.
