What IssueDesk stores, where it's kept, and what happens when you uninstall.
What IssueDesk stores
- The issues you create, with their timelines, notes and attachments
- Order and line-item references so each issue links to the right order
- The customer’s name and email from the order, so you know who’s affected
- Your team members’ names and notification settings
- Your plan
IssueDesk doesn’t sell your data or share it for advertising. The full details are in the IssueDesk privacy policy.
Where it’s kept
Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Fly.io in the United States, encrypted in transit. Emails are sent through Resend.
When you uninstall
Uninstalling IssueDesk removes your store’s data from our database automatically. If you plan to come back later, export your issues to CSV first. See Exporting issues to CSV.
Shopify’s customer and shop data-deletion requests are handled automatically too.
Ask for a copy or a deletion
To request an export of your data, or to have it deleted without uninstalling, contact us from the store owner’s email address.
