What buyers receive, the attendee list, resending tickets, reminders and messages.
What buyers get
When an order is paid, EventDesk issues one ticket per seat. The buyer gets an email with a QR code for each ticket and a calendar file. The same tickets show on the Thank-you and Order status pages, and each ticket has its own page that works on a phone.
Ticket emails use your store’s name as the sender, and replies come to you. Change the sender name and reply-to address in Settings > Ticket emails.
The attendee list
Open a session from the event page to see everyone attending. From there you can:
- search by name, email or order number
- see whether each ticket email was delivered, or if it bounced
- resend tickets, optionally to a corrected email address
- check a guest in by hand, or undo a check-in
- export the list as a CSV file
Reminders (Pro and Plus)
EventDesk emails each order a reminder before the session. The default is 24 hours before. Change it in Settings > Reminders.
Message everyone (Plus)
On the attendee list, Message everyone in this session emails every attendee, for example to share parking details or a change of room.
Refunds, cancellations and order edits
- Refunding or cancelling an order voids its tickets. The ticket page says so and the door scanner rejects them.
- Removing a seat in an order edit voids one unused ticket and puts the seat back on sale.
- Adding a seat in an order edit issues a new ticket and re-sends the set.
Tickets that have already been checked in stay valid.
